Cheltenham Previews
The FormBet Cheltenham Festival Previews along with stats, trends and any recommended ante-post bets are starting for FormBet private subscribers this week for the next few months in the run up to the festival.
To see an example of the type of previews I will be providing have a look at this old racebets blog post I put up just before the FormBet site went live from Cheltenham last year where I tipped up Go Native 1st @ 12/1 and Medermit 2nd @ 16/1 for the race in question, the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. I feel a stats-based approach combined with the new FormBet ratings will work extremely well at the festival and full subscribers will have access to all this info along with the best ratings on the net over the coming months. The ratings will be available for download only at Cheltenham for £5 each day but you will get better value by signing up for the full service as you will receive the ratings, with all the stats analysis and recommended bets for each evening and day of the festival.
The top-rated provided the winner of half of the 14 races on Saturday while at Southwell last Monday, there were no less than 5 top-rated winners and 2 x 2nd-rated winners meaning that we went through the card in all 7 races ! There is no other ratings system out there with this consistency and wealth of additional information including speed ratings, trainer, jockey and sire stats along with draw% information etc etc.
1st Stonecrabstomorrow 3.3 (top-rated)
1st Ambrogina 2.84 (2nd-rated)
1st Elusive Warrior 2.42 (top-rated and nap)
1st Hit The Switch 5.1 (top-rated)
1st Russian Music 5 (2nd-rated)
1st Dream In Blue 18 (top-rated and top value)
1st The Love Guru 3.15 (top-rated)
There is also a speed-ratings based system to use with the ratings which produced a 145pts profit to 1pt stakes in December and is already over 16pts up in January after just a few days.
Now is a perfect time to sign up, although the jumps racing is thin on the ground the all-weather can still prove very profitable.
Just click through on one of the options below or visit the signup page and you’ll receive all the ratings along with the previews of the Cheltenham festival stats previews over the next few months along with access to the private subscribers forum to discuss winning systems, strategies and stats research for the ratings to get the best out of them. This works out at less than 90p a day which is a bargain.

When you signup to FormBet you will receive the unique ratings sheet the evening before racing via email, usually by 8pm which rates all the races in the UK taking place the following day.
The ratings sheet contains the unique FormBet Rating (FBR) which take into account 20+ different criteria weighted according to their relevance. Other information includes the horses last 3 speed figures, whether each horse is up or down in class, the draw%, whether it has won over the course and distance, any first time headgear, value odds, betfair prices, trainers 14-day and course strike-rates including ROI, impact values etc, sire strike-rates, jockeys 14-day strike-rate and the horses record over the course and distance, steamers in the morning, trainer switches etc.
There is also unique profile information about each horse which tells you how many times the horse has won left or right handed, it’s wins to runs ratio on different types of going and much more useful information all in one easy to read ratings sheet. All of this is displayed in one handy excel spreadsheet direct to your email inbox for every race.
The ratings are constantly being reviewed to offer the best information to horse racing punters and the most reliable ratings to produce decent profits. There is a speed ratings system which has been developed which showed +145pts to 1pt level stakes in December and so far in January is +16pts in profit.
You can download an example of the ratings and information provided here.
It’s in excel format, you can download a free excel viewer here from microsoft.
In addition to this you will receive an email update around 11am with any recommended bets and updated odds and adjustments for non-runners.
As a subscriber you also receive access to a private members only area on the forum to discuss the ratings, strategies and to post any questions/comments on the service. Any bets are also sent out to subscribers via an optional FREE SMS text message at no additional cost, again around 11am each day. This is not a premium SMS, I take care of all the mobile charges as part of your subscription.
I perform unique statistical trends analysis for the big weekend races and this information is also provided along with previews of the weekend racing. When you signup you will receive a FREE dutching and hedging spreadsheet to work out your bets and back/lays automatically.
If you only want to receive only the best bets I suggest you signup to the Premium SMS service which works out at £1.50 per text, 1 text sent per day with the best bets but these are only sent when I have strong bets, not daily. All you need to do to subscribe is send the keyword FBET to 80508. You can stop the messages at any time by sending the keyword STOP to 80508.
You can also download the ratings only each day for between £1 to £1.50 or £2.50 on Saturday’s and for major meetings/festivals however, the full subscription is recommended as you receive all the ratings for less than 90p a day plus all the other extras which works out a lot cheaper than daily downloads. Payment for recurring subscriptions is taken securely via Paypal or debit/credit card.
If you have any further questions on the service or the ratings or wish to pay by cheque or an alternative method then please drop me a mail via the Contact Page.
