I've been working on producing some ratings for myself, initially to try and highlight LAY bets, but I also think the ratings can be used to highlight BET horses in the same races. I'll concentrate on one meeting per day and I'll post my findings on here. I have noticed the LAY ratings can sometimes give multiple selections in the same races, which is not so bad either, as if you have four selections you know for sure three will get beat, even if the other does win. I'll use Betfair SP as a base for settling the bets.

3 out of 4 lays successful today, but Five Star Junior hit badly at 13.5 on Betfair, the fourth winner of the day for Keiron Fallon. However, we are still just in profit. 

The Back bets were a little unlucky too, with a couple of runners up. No profit today, but overall we're still on the plus side.

Another good day for the LAYS, with all 9 beaten again. Although a couple did go close to spoiling the party. 

Not so good with the back bets today, although Prince Golan was 1st past the post at Betfair odds of 16.55, but lost the race in the Steward's Room. And Jozafeen was just caught on the line at 25.35. So a poor day could have been so much better, but we are still showing a profit.

Another cracking day for the Lays with all 9 beaten today. The Back bets again failed miserably, but i'm monitoring them just out of interest, as my ratings are designed basically to find LAY bets, so I may well ditch the Back bets after the end of the month.
