About time I gave out some thoughts in the public forum for a race or two…

I quite like the look of AATHER for the Imperial Cup on Saturday at 16/1 and currently the same price for the County Hurdle. He was very impressive at Ffos two outings ago and then possibly hit the front too soon at Cheltenham last time but still ran a big race.

However, one caught by eye that started 3rd fav for the race last year after winning the Gerry Fielden and then ran a solid 8th in the County after meeting trouble in running. He has had a strange campaign and shown nothing at all this term but MON MICHEL looks a huge price at 33/1 if he can reproduce anywhere near his best and providing he doesn't unseat at the first again could find the race run to suit if on a going day. He is 66/1 for the County this year but may struggle to get in this year.
